Gearing up for SPAR 2009
November 24, 2008 – 3D Imaging Services is scheduled to present at Spar 2009 in Denver, Colorado March 30th through April 1st. This is the 6th annual conference on 3D laser scanning, mobile surveying, lidar, dimensional control, asset management, and BIM/CAD/GIS integration.
Spar 2009 is all about the business and technology of capturing, managing and integrating 3D information. Spar searches the world for the smartest, most experienced people they can find to exchange information and share ideas, technologies, and work processes.
Spar’s conferences attract attendees from the world’s largest petroleum and petrochemical producers, manufacturing companies, shipbuilders, civil and transportation infrastructure engineering firms, industrial metrologists, architects, geotechnical and mining firms, land surveyors, and federal, state and local governments.
3D Imaging Services, which specializes in providing 3D laser scanning and 3D as-built modeling, will focus our presentation on 3D as-built models for BIM integration. Our ability to digitize existing facilities allows us to easily integrate existing buildings into BIM workflow processes.
